On 6th november Ole Iversen and Christian Dindler gave an invited talk at City University of New York about the DUL project. In particular, the talk framed a discussion with researchers from the American Social History Project about the design of interactive technologies for cultural heritage communication.

Life after Technology as Experience: Bringing user experience to design

Peter Wright, Art and Design Research Centre, Sheffield Hallam University (UK) is visiting IMV on november 19. In his talk he will outline some health-related projects he is currently involved with which have taken different approaches to the problem of bringing lived experience to design.

On October 28, DUL and CAVI in collaboration with Musicon held a workshop on engaging and interactive experiences in urban space. The aim of the workshop was to develop ideas for interactive installations on the site of Musicon, a former industrial area in Roskilde, Denmark.

On October 26, DUL and CAVI held a workshop at DR on interactive potentials for Koncerthuset. The aim of the workshop was to explore and challenge the visual possibilities of Koncerthuset in new ways, focusing on interactive technologies and the existing capabilities of the building.

Jeppe Hein

Tirsdag d. 17. november har Center for Digital Urban Living i samarbejde med CAVI inviteret kunstneren Jeppe Hein til at tale om den kreative proces bag hans lange række af værker, hvoraf flere griber ind i byens liv.

The seminar about Urban Screens and Public Space at Media Lab Prado is directed by architect Nerea Calvillo. It takes place on September 28, 29 and 30 in Mardrid. Digital Urban Livings director, Kim Halskov will be speaking on the conference together with Mirjam Struppek (Interactionfield), Susa Pop (Public Art Lab), Jeffrey Huang (Media Design Lab), Jan and Tim Edler (Realities United) and United Visual Artists (UVA).
